Enjoy this delicious dish before, during, or after the Warriors game.
Ingredients:
• 1 1/2 cups of warm water (110F)
• 1 tbp of sugar
• 2 tsps of salt
• 1 package of active dry yeast
• 4 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
• 1/4 cup of unsalted butter (melted)
• 8 cups of water
• 2/3 cup of baking soda
• Pretzel salt
Directions:
Combine first water (110F) and yeast. Place them in the mixer and allow to rest for about 5 minutes.
Mix flour, sugar and salt together.
Add flour mixture to the water mixture. Using the hook attachment start the mixer in low speed until combined.
Add melted butter let combined and place the mixer in medium speed until the dough is smooth and is not sticking to the sides of the bowl.
Take the dough out of the bowl and cover with plastic paper until it has reach double in size.
Preheat oven at 400F.
Spray sheet pans with cooking spray.
Divide dough into 6 small pieces and and roll out to 24"
Make a U form with the dough.
Cross them over each other and press onto the bottom of the U.
Place the Pretzels into the baking soda water for about 15 seconds.
Place in the sprayed sheet pan, sprinkle some pretzel salt and bake for about 16 minutes.
Enjoy with beer cheese sauce or whole grain mustard!
