The 2022 NBA Champion Golden State Warriors and Fanatics will tip off holiday celebrations with festive greetings, arts and crafts, live entertainment, and multicultural activities during the annual Thrive City Winter Wonderland, presented by Fanatics. Key events, all presented by Fanatics, include the Tree Lighting Ceremony on November 30, featuring San Francisco’s tallest Christmas tree, standing 90 feet tall, followed by the Holiday Spectacular on December 16 – 18, and closing the year on December 31, with Kwanzaa and Noon Year’s Eve Celebration.

Winter Wonderland will tip-off Wednesday, November 30, at 6:00 p.m. with Thrive City’s annual Tree Lighting Ceremony, featuring surprise performances, seasonal treats, holiday photo ops, festive activities, branded giveaways, and more. Guests will enjoy a diverse selection of live entertainment, including original member and founder of Journey, Neal Schon, singer-songwriter Teddy Swims, SF Philharmonic orchestra, and more.
As part of the Winter Wonderland series, the Warriors and Fanatics will host a Holiday Spectacular on Friday, December 16, from 3:00- 6:00 p.m., and December 17 -18, from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m., which will include snowfall in the West Plaza, an artisan market, holiday treats, seasonal photo opportunities, whimsical attractions, festive arts and crafts, entertainment and a variety of holiday activities. Additionally, on December 18 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., the Warriors will celebrate the start of Hannukah with a ceremonial lighting on a custom 11-foot-tall Menorah, a Rabbi Reading, a Hannukah sing-along, traditional treats, and more.
In addition, on Saturday, December 31, from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., guests can celebrate the culture of Kwanzaa and close out the year with a Noon Year’s Eve Celebration featuring the music of Fela Kuti from the Rock and Roll Playhouse. Thrive City will ring in 2023 with special performances, a countdown at 11:59 p.m., holiday craft stations, delightful treats, and more.
