Thrive City Announces Addition of Señor Sisig Restaurant
Thrive City has announced the addition of Señor Sisig, the Filipino-American restaurant created by co-founders Evan Kidera and Gil Payumo. Their well-known sisig, a Filipino dish made with a mixture of seasoning and pork, is the highlight of their street-style fast food. The new brick-and-mortar Thrive City eatery will debut exclusive menu items specific to the location, along with their beloved classics, including the sisig tacos, señor sisig burrito, sisig fries and more.
Señor Sisig will be located in Thrive City’s West Plaza between Gott’s Roadside and Kayah by Burma Love. The restaurant is slated to open early 2025 and will be open for business seven days a week for lunch and dinner, with expanded hours on Chase Center event days.
Señor Sisig aims to be an iconic location to visit for a quick bite or a game-day experience with large televisions, bar, grab ‘n’ go food service, private event offerings, large party accommodations and more. Designed by MMA Design, Señor Sisig’s interior will convey the bright, vibrant aesthetic their fans know and love, in addition to some art pieces and installations inspired by the Warriors.
“We are absolutely pumped for the chance to be a part of the electric atmosphere of Thrive City,” said Señor Sisig CEO Evan Kidera. “Señor Sisig has its roots right here in the San Francisco Bay Area and we can’t wait to bring these tastes of the Bay to fans and guests in Thrive City.”
Señor Sisig is a pioneer in the street-food scene, with a fleet of four food trucks and three brick and mortar locations. Their latest location is a cantina-style eatery in Oakland that opened earlier this year featuring beer, special cocktails, and shareable drinks.
Current Thrive City retailers include Chase Bank, Cupcakin’ Bake Shop, Dumpling Time, Gott’s Roadside, Harmonic Brewing, Miller & Lux, Mission Bay Wine Bar, GluGlu, Misalignment Museum, Philz Coffee and Warriors Shop. New restaurants, Che Fico Pizzeria and Kayah by Burma Love, are highly anticipated and set to open in 2024. For more information, please visit thrivecity.com.
