
Thrive City Announces 2025 Winter Wonderland Holiday Programming
Thrive City has announced its 2025 Winter Wonderland holiday programming., featuring four signature annual events and activations: a Tree Lighting Ceremony, Hanukkah Celebration, an ice skating rink, and Kwanzaa and Noon Year’s Eve Celebration. Guests are encouraged to RSVP at ThriveCity.com.
Thrive City’s Winter Wonderland events and activations include:
- Tree Lighting Ceremony – Tip off the holiday season with the lighting of the Bay Area’s tallest tree during Thrive City’s annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on Sunday, November 30 from 4 to 6 p.m. Guests are invited to take part in festive activities such as holiday food and drinks from Thrive City restaurants, photo opportunities with Santa, arts and crafts, and musical performances including headliner act Louis Cato, leader of the band for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
- Hanukkah Celebration – Thrive City will celebrate the Festival of Lights with its annual Hanukkah Celebration and special menorah lighting ceremony on Thursday, December 18 from 4 to 7 p.m. The night will feature ice skating, live music from Jerry’s Kosher Deli All Star Band, Jewish treats and drinks, and festive arts and crafts.
- Winter Wonderland Ice Skating – Thrive City’s free ice skating rink will return for seven days during the month of December beginning on Tuesday, December 23. Each ice skating session will include free skate rentals, holiday photo opportunities, snowfall, and more. A full schedule of dates and times can be found on ThriveCity.com. - – Ring in the new year early at Thrive City during the annual Kwanzaa and Noon Year’s Eve daytime concert and celebration on Wednesday, December 31 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The family-friendly event will feature Soji Sai Afrobeat from the Rock & Roll Playhouse, cultural performances, arts and crafts, a countdown drop, and more.
