Playboi Carti's Antagonist Tour is Coming to Chase Center on Sept. 16, 2023
Earlier today, Playboi Carti announced he will make a stop at Chase Center for his global Antagonist Tour on Saturday, September 16, 2023. This is Playboi Carti’s first headline tour since 2021, and he’ll be joined by Ken Carson and Homixide Gang for the San Francisco show. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, July 14, at noon PT and can be purchased here.
This is Playboi Carti’s first headline tour since 2021, where he took several cities by storm in support of his first #1 album on the Billboard 200 chart Whole Lotta Red. The album, released on Christmas day in 2020, sold 100,000 units and received 160 million global streams within its first week.
Coming off the heels of headlining several premiere festivals including Rolling Loud California (LA), Lyrical Lemonade Summer Smash (Chicago), Wireless Festival (London) and more, Carti will continue to wow audiences across the globe with electric live performances and unique fan experiences on tour this fall. Opening in Denver on September 6, the tour will stop in major cities across the world including Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, Atlanta, New York, London, Paris, Amsterdam and more. Support for the tour includes rappers Ken Carson, Destroy Lonely, and Homixide Gang, which will be their first time hitting the road as an Opium Collective. Destroy Lonely will not be supporting the San Francisco and Chicago tour stops.Over the past few years, these rising artists have garnered a passionate fan base and widespread acclaim. Ken Carson’s most recent studio album X landed him a spot on the Billboard 200 chart, and Destroy Lonely’s breakout success this year includes the release of his highly anticipated debut album, If Looks Could Kill, which reached No.1 on Apple Music and helped earn him his first spot on the Billboard 200. Homixide Gang, a rap duo from Atlanta, released their mixtapes Homixide Lifestyle in 2022 and Snot or Not in 2023.
