
Chase Center Announces the Invisalign Bay Area Women's Classic for Dec. 21, 2025
Chase Center will host its second annual Invisalign® Bay Area Women’s Classic on Sunday, December 21, 2025, it was announced today. The women’s college basketball doubleheader will feature Stanford University facing the University of Oregon, followed by California (Cal) taking on the University of Southern California (USC). Both games will be televised by ESPN with game times announced at a later date.
The Invisalign® Bay Area Women’s Classic will be a single-admission doubleheader, and fans will only need to purchase one ticket to gain admission to both games. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, June 27 at 12 p.m. with an exclusive presale for Chase Center Insiders on Thursday, June 26 at 2 p.m. Tickets can be purchased here.
Returning to the Invisalign® Bay Area Women’s Classic for the second consecutive year, the Stanford Cardinal welcomes back 10 letterwinners to its 2025-26 roster, including All-ACC second team selection Nunu Agara, the team’s leading scorer and rebounder from a season ago. Stanford Head Coach Kate Paye enters her second season as her alma mater’s head coach and her 19th season overall on the Cardinal staff.
The Oregon Ducks return nine players from last year’s roster, which advanced to the second round of the 2025 NCAA Tournament. The Ducks were one of just two double-digit seeds to advance out of the first round, finishing the year with a 20-12 record. It marked the University of Oregon’s sixth NCAA Tournament bid in the last eight seasons under head coach Kelly Graves, who earned his 10th career victory as a double-digit seed with the upset overtime win over Vanderbilt.
Cal is coming off one of the best seasons in recent program history as the team earned an at-large berth to the NCAA Tournament (No. 8 seed) for the first time since 2018-19, won 25 games for the first time since the 2012-13 season, maintained an Associated Press Top 25 ranking for eight straight weeks (going as high as No. 18) and set a program record for home wins in a season (16), going 16-1 at Haas Pavilion. The Bears are led by Head Coach Charmin Smith, a three-time Final Four participant, former WNBA player, and Cal’s first black female head coach.
Under the direction of former Cleveland Cavaliers assistant coach Lindsay Gottlieb, the USC women's basketball team is coming off a 2024-25 season that saw the Trojans win the Big Ten regular season championship, earn a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament and reach a second straight Elite Eight to finish with a 31-4 overall record. Gottlieb is entering her fifth season with USC and was named a finalist for the Werner Ladder National Coach of the Year award in both 2024 and 2025.
