Fikscue Craft BBQ Opens at Thrive City June 12
Thrive City has announced that Fikscue Craft BBQ will open its second Bay Area restaurant to the public tomorrow, Thursday, June 12 from 12 to 8 p.m. or until sold out. The eatery has received numerous accolades for their distinct creation of slow-smoked, Texas-style barbecue combined with rich Indonesian flavors. Menu highlights include Texas-style smoked brisket, dino ribs, and Indonesian dishes such as nasi goreng, a fried rice dish, soto padang, a beef noodle soup, and more.
Fikscue Craft BBQ is located on Thrive City’s Esplanade, next to Harmonic Brewing and is open Thursdays through Sundays from 12 to 8 p.m. or until sold out, with extended hours on event days.
The restaurant’s interior features an industrial aesthetic with open ceilings, bold mural art and pops of color that add vibrancy to the space. The outside patio showcases the impressive “pitroom” and a cozy and inviting atmosphere for watching a game, enjoying a sunset or sharing a meal with friends and family. Shared seating with Harmonic Brewing will also be available up on the Esplanade.
Fikscue Craft BBQ is an innovator in the barbecue scene, having opened a pop-up business in 2020 before serving their Indo-Tex dishes from their current brick-and-mortar restaurant in Alameda that opened in 2023. Since then, Fikscue has received recognition as one of the best restaurants in America by numerous publications including The New York Times.
Additional Thrive City retailers include Chase Bank, Che Fico Pizzeria, Cupcakin’ Bake Shop, Dumpling Time, Golden State Shop, Gott’s Roadside, Harmonic Brewing, Kayah by Burma Love, Miller & Lux, Philz Coffee, Senor Sisig, Splash at Thrive City, Taco Primo and The Baked Bear.
