
Mickey Guyton to Headline Chase Sound Check at Thrive City on February 24
The Golden State Warriors and Chase today announced that country singer and songwriter Mickey Guyton will headline the first-ever Chase Sound Check at Thrive City, the plaza surrounding Chase Center, on Thursday, February 24, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the concert go on sale exclusively for Chase cardholders this Thursday, February 17, at 10 a.m. on Ticketmaster. Guyton recently released her critically acclaimed debut album “Remember Her Name,” hailed by the Associated Press as “a powerful and personal debut” and Slate as a “scorching reclamation of a genre.” The Texas native made history as the first Black artist to earn a GRAMMY nomination for Best Country Album. “Remember Her Name” also landed Guyton GRAMMY nominations for Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance. Earlier this month, Guyton performed the National Anthem for Super Bowl LVI in Inglewood, California.
During Chase Sound Check, Sapphire Reserve cardholders will have exclusive access to a pre-show Q&A with Guyton in an intimate fireside chat setting, followed by a live acoustic performance inside Chase Center. Each Sapphire cardholder will also have access to premium food and beverages and will receive an autographed tote bag created by interdisciplinary artist Jamilla Okubo in collaboration with Guyton.
The Chase Sound Check concert series launched in New York City in 2017 and has since expanded to several cities around the country, bringing fans closer to the music they love. As Chase’s owned music platform, the series offers Chase cardholders VIP experiences to access live concerts to see their favorite artists across a variety of genres.

This follows Mickey’s groundbreaking GRAMMY nomination as the first-ever Black female solo artist to earn a nod in a country category (Best Country Solo Performance) for “Black Like Me” which she performed as part of the 2021 awards ceremony.“Black Like Me” was named one of the Top 10 all-genre songs of 2020 by NPR, Billboard and Associated Press. She also co-hosted the 56thAcademy of Country Music Awards on CBS along with Keith Urban and she was named CMT’s 2021 Breakout Artist of the Year.
