Introducing a new, exciting series to Thrive City - MatchPint! This is a brewery Red Ball Tennis social league by USTA Northern California! Red Ball Tennis is a smaller, scaled-down version of traditional tennis—easy to pick up, highly social, and perfect for players of all ages and skill levels. This league will be hosted throughout Thrive City every Wednesday in July! Come out with your friends and co-workers and compete in this friendly and competitive league! Then drop by Harmonic Brewing for a free beer!

Not interested in signing up for the league but still want to play? Free Open Play will be from 4:30pm-5:30pm! Open Play sessions are a minimum of 20 minutes. Space is limited to first-come, first-served. Eventbrite registrations are required.

Registration info:

  • Registration Fee: 
  • $50 per player for the full 5-week series (Available until the first match day, Wednesday, July 2) 
  • $15 per player for a single matchday
  • Includes: Doubles Round Robin matchplay and 1 complimentary beverage from Harmonic Brewing
  • Match Dates: Every Wednesday in July (2, 9, 16, 23, & 30)
  • Time: 6:00PM - 7:30PM
  • Optional Free Play: 4:30PM - 5:30PM
  • Teams: 2 - 4 players (All Players must sign up individually)
  • Tennis: Adult Red Ball
  • Equipment is Provided: 21-inch & 23-inch Racquets, Red Foam/Felt Balls, 18 Ft. Pop-Up Nets
  • Play Format: Doubles - Substitutions allowed
  • Scoring Format: 10-minute rounds or first to 21 points (Can change weekly)

Prohibited Items & Activities at Thrive City:

  • No weapons of any kind
  • No alcohol brought onto the plaza
  • All pets* on a leash
  • No coolers
  • No lawn chairs
  • Face coverings are not permitted (medical, surgical, and other safety related masks are permitted inside). Limited face paint will be accepted.
  • No panhandling, solicitation, or loitering
  • No smoking of any kind
  • No amplified sound
  • No drones
  • No bicycles, skateboards, roller blades or scooters (bicycles can be locked at any rack on the street around the venue)
  • No motorized vehicles
  • No pamphlets or product samples
  • No overnight camping
  • No tents
  • All garbage, bottles, cans, paper, or other waste matter should be placed in designated trash and recycling receptacles
  • No trespassing when Thrive City is closed
  • Any other prohibited items, activity, or behaviors deemed unsafe or unacceptable by Chase Center Management

*Trained service animals are welcome on Thrive City, provided they remain on a leash, tether or in a harness at all times unless these devices interfere with the service animal’s work or the person’s disability prevents use of these devices. A guest whose service animal poses a threat to the safety of other Thrive City guests or Team Members, may be asked to escort the animal(s) off the premises.
