The Golden State Warriors will host the eighth annual California Classic Summer League, presented by CarMax, at Chase Center on July 3, 5 and 6, featuring three days of game play between the Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs.
California Classic games will include rookies selected in the 2026 NBA Draft along with players competing to make the NBA and G League regular season rosters. Golden State’s 2025 California Classic entry featured rookies LJ Cryer and Will Richard, both of whom appeared in games for the Warriors during the 2025-26 NBA season, along with Santa Cruz contributors Marques Bolden, Ja’Vier Francis and Jackson Rowe. The roster featured an additional three players who appeared in games with other NBA teams: Blake Hinson (Utah Jazz), Chris Manon (Los Angeles Lakers), Bez Mbeng (Utah Jazz).
Similar to other Summer Leagues, modified game play rules will be in place, including 10-minute quarters. Chase Center games on Friday, July 3, and Sunday, July 5, will be open to the public, while games on Monday, July 6, will be available via broadcast only.
Chase Center’s Thrive City will host a California Classic Fan Fest prior to the games on Sunday, featuring multiple fan-friendly activities such as carnival games, live music, lawn games, and more. The fan fest is free and open to the public.
