St. Ignatius College Preparatory and Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory are proud to announce that the 2026 Bruce-Mahoney Basketball Games will take place on Friday, Jan. 16, at Chase Center, home of the Golden State Warriors and Golden State Valkyries.
This event continues one of San Francisco’s most storied athletic traditions, bringing together the men’s and women’s basketball teams from both schools in a spirited doubleheader that celebrates community, sportsmanship, and decades of friendly rivalry.
The Bruce-Mahoney Series, which spans five sports — women's volleyball, football, women's and men's basketball, and baseball — honors alumni from both schools who lost their lives in World War II. The series winner earns the coveted Bruce-Mahoney Trophy, a symbol of excellence and tradition dating back to 1947.
Additional game details, including ticket information and start times, will be announced in the coming weeks.
