Thrive City is rolling out the red carpet and invites you to B.Y.O. Blanket for the Bay Area’s biggest movie screen experience! Bring your family and friends to watch the childhood classic, The Lion King from our plaza board. Snap a pic at our photo op and explore our other movie-themed activities! The movie will begin at 12:30PM.
Make sure to bring something warm as the weather can get a little chilly!
Blankets & Blockbusters Lineup:
- Sunday, September 13th: The Lion King
- Saturday, November 7th: Toy Story 5
Splash will be serving a special Movie Day menu! These items are for purchase and include:
⭐ Simba Slider - $4
Soft pretzel bun, juicy beef patty, melted American cheese, ketchup, pickle
⭐ Blockbuster Beef Slider - $5
Pretzel bun, beef patty, pepper jack cheese, bacon jam, crispy onions, chipotle aioli, pickle
⭐ Popcorn Mini Bag - $4
Fresh-popped popcorn, butter, sea salt
⭐ Timone’s Cookie - $4
Warm chocolate chip cookie made with butter, brown & white sugar, vanilla, oats, sea salt
⭐ Cozy Cinema Hot Chocolate - $3
Hot chocolate topped with marshmallows, whipped cream
The Entertainment Zone at Thrive City will be activated for these events. Guests ages 21 and over may purchase to-go alcoholic beverages from participating Thrive City businesses to enjoy within the Entertainment Zone. Click here to learn more.

Prohibited Items & Activities at Thrive City:
- No weapons of any kind
- No alcohol brought onto the plaza
- All pets* on a leash
- No coolers
- No lawn chairs
- Face coverings are not permitted (medical, surgical, and other safety related masks are permitted inside). Limited face paint will be accepted.
- No panhandling, solicitation, or loitering
- No smoking of any kind
- No amplified sound
- No drones
- No bicycles, skateboards, roller blades or scooters (bicycles can be locked at any rack on the street around the venue)
- No motorized vehicles
- No pamphlets or product samples
- No overnight camping
- No tents
- All garbage, bottles, cans, paper, or other waste matter should be placed in designated trash and recycling receptacles
- No trespassing when Thrive City is closed
- Any other prohibited items, activity, or behaviors deemed unsafe or unacceptable by Chase Center Management
*Trained service animals are welcome on Thrive City, provided they remain on a leash, tether or in a harness at all times unless these devices interfere with the service animal’s work or the person’s disability prevents use of these devices. A guest whose service animal poses a threat to the safety of other Thrive City guests or Team Members, may be asked to escort the animal(s) off the premises.
